The model was created as a basis for the architectural study and subsequent phases. The modelled building was to be connected to the newly designed building. Great emphasis was put on the measurement of outdoor spaces and both vertical and horizontal communications. A topographic plan was created for the outdoor areas. The interior communications were surveyed with a stationary scanner. The wider context within the site was created in a separate model of lower detail. All work was carried out whilst the site was operational.
